Institutional Planning and Assessment Committee (IPAC)

The Institutional Planning and Assessment Committee (IPAC) is an on-going team which provides college wide input and coordination for all accreditation, planning, evaluation and assessment efforts. The Committee is based on an integrated framework that aligns an organization's mission with continuous improvement and regulatory standards. It ensures that academic programs, student services, and administrative units operate efficiently while meeting external accreditation and legal requirements. The charge to the committee is to:

(1) Assist in the coordination of all accreditation and strategic planning activities and the provision of appropriate documentation to support these efforts.
(2) Assist in editing, producing and proofing of accreditation reports.
(3) Assist in the development, coordination and monitoring of timetables for planning and assessment activities.
(4) Review and assess planning processes and strategies with recommendations for enhancement.
(5) Serve as a clearinghouse for all planning and assessment initiatives.
(6) Help provide an archive of data and planning materials.
(7) Help determine data and documentation needs for appropriate planning and institutional effectiveness efforts.
(8) Monitor that appropriate assessment measures are implemented across the campus, and (9) Help provide professional development for all employees on
accreditation, planning and assessment.
